Prayer at First Methodist

We are a praying church! Thank you for keeping the concerns and praises of our congregation, our community, and the world in your daily communication with the Lord. We have a monthly prayer and healing service on the third Monday of each month at 6:00 PM. Request prayer at any time by going to fmcmarblefalls.com/prayer, emailing prayerlist@fmcmarblefalls.com, or calling the Church Office at (830)-693-4341 during office hours.

Online Prayer List - We are a praying church and welcome all your prayer concerns. Please be aware that in order to keep the Online Prayer List updated, all requests and/or names will stay for one month and then rotate off unless the office is notified. If you want to add or remove any request/person from the prayer list, please call the office at 830-693-4341.

Music Ministry This Spring

“There Stands A Cross”

Good Friday Cantata performance with Chancel Choir and 12 piece orchestra under the direction of Dr. Greg Gathright will be held on Good Friday, March 29th at 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Joyful Choir

Tuesdays from 3:45-5:00 PM for 1st - 5th grades. Register your children at fmcmarblefalls.com/music.

Block Party 2023-2024
|Wednesdays | 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM | FMC Marble Falls

Block Party is a FREE after-school, faith-based program designed to guide children toward spiritual maturity by showing them what God's love really means. Block Party is for grades Kindergarten through 4th Grade (New 5th Grade Pre-Teen Ministry!), and meets September - December and then from January - May. We bus students in from Marble Falls Elementary and Colt using MFISD buses. We've made a few positive changes this year and are always working towards enhancing the program overall.

5th Grade will be picked up and bused in along with K-4th. Then they will be given a snack before joining alongside 6th grade youth.

Students participate in a large group setting for music, story, and snacks before grade-base smaller groups rotate between mission-based and/org take-home crafts and then games and hang-out time.

Block Party NEEDS Volunteers

Adults needed for guides, games, snacks, registration, skits/storytelling, and bus riders. Volunteers are needed from 3:00 - 5:30 PM for both Block Party & the NEW Pre-Teen Ministry. Please contact stephanie@fmcmarblefalls.com.

Holy Week Clean Up Day is Saturday, March 23 from 9:00-3:00 PM!!!

We need lots of volunteers to help!!! We will be cleaning up garden areas outside, Sunday School Rooms, area behind the stage, and lots of other places to prepare our church for Holy Week and Easter. A PIZZA lunch will be provided!

Wesley Respite Center Has Openings

The Center is taking applications for participants with early stages of dementia and living at home. This community benefit includes a program, games, exercise, lunch, and singing with each participant being paired with a volunteer for activities and making friendships. This gives families and caregivers an opportunity to have some time away. We meet here every Thursday, 9:30-1:30 PM. It is free, however, donations are greatly appreciated. Women’s Bible Study “IF:TABLE” begins Tuesday, March 19th from 5:30-6:45 PM in Room 404.

The simplest way to cut through the small talk and start building the relationships that God wants us to have. No registration required. Childcare provided. Contact Sally Best at sallybest@att.net if you would like to attend.

Altar Flower Calendar

Visit the Altar Flower Calendar in the Narthex at the Welcome Desk to order flowers in memory or in honor/celebration of an event or person. Simply place your name beside the date you want to reserve, and the office will contact you for further information. Arrangements start at $65.00. Reminder: If you take the flower arrangement home, please remove the arrangement from the white container. Take only the arrangement with you. Thank you.

Easter Lilies can be ordered through March 22nd.

If you would like to honor or memorialize a loved one, fill out an order form at the welcome desk or office. Lilies are $10.00 each.

Come Join the Spring 2024 Block Party!

Spring Block Party, our church's after-school, faith-based program for children from Kindergarten through 4th grade, will be on Wednesday from 3:30-5:00 PM. We need volunteers for guides, games, snacks, registration, skits/storytelling, and bus riders. We are also looking for volunteers for the new Pre-Teen Ministry that will launch at the beginning of this year's Block Party! Volunteers are needed from 3:00 - 5:30 PM. Early Christian Awareness (ECA) Needs Helpers

For the 18 mo. - 3 years old age children during Sunday School hour 10-11 AM. This is a special program that has been a part of our church for decades. Please email if you can help to stephanie@fmcmarblefalls.com.

Volunteers are Needed for Kids' Church on Sundays

Support Healing Hearts with Helping Hands Ministry

Healing Hearts with Helping Hands (formerly Prayer Shawl Ministry) has comfort items available to serve our congregation. Items are crafted by church members, prepared, and prayed over for distribution by pastors and volunteers. Our outreach serves those grieving, in hospitals, care facilities, homebound, and adults and children with special needs. We need your help as volunteers, fabric donations, yarn, and/or monetary donations.

Feed My Sheep

We are in need of more casseroles for "Feed My Sheep." If you would like to make a casserole, please make them in an 8 x 8 foil pan and cover it with foil. Label what the casserole is; put the date made; instructions for cooking/heating. Put them in the freezer in the custodian closet in the Fellowship Hall.

If you or someone you know is in need of a casserole, please call or come by the church, and we will give you one. 830-693-4341.
