Emmaus Retreats
The Walk to Emmaus is a 72-hour experience that takes a New Testament look at Christianity as a lifestyle. It is a spiritual walk, not a physical walk, designed to strengthen and renew your faith and the local church. For more information and registration visit the Heartland of Texas Emmaus Community website.
Who should participate in an Emmaus event? Emmaus is open to members of any Christian denomination. It is for the development of Christian leaders who are members of a local church, have a desire to strengthen their spiritual lives, may have unanswered questions about their faith, understand that being a Christian involves responsibility, and that are willing to dedicate their everyday lives to God in an ongoing manner.
HOW TO ATTEND A WALK TO EMMAUS
Those interested in going on a Walk must be sponsored by someone who has attended "The Walk to Emmaus." An application must be completed and signed by a pastor.
