Be an FUMC Prayer Warrior Let’s build prayer in our church! Use your Prayer Square daily with your family to pray about our church, yourself and those you love. Learn about prayer & the other resources God gives us to support our lives and our church by reading and practicing the ideas in our Active Membership in Stewardship pamphlet. Submit prayer requests/answers about your loved ones and about God’s will for our church to the Prayer Treasure Box in the Narthex as we prepare to expand our church & its ministries.
This is a great time to focus on praying as a church family & learning to pray with our own families every day. We’ll be amazed with the results!
Eternal God, You are the creator & preserver of life. I praise Your name & thank You for the gift of salvation given to me through Jesus Christ. I confess I sometimes try to live my life thinking only of myself. I need to think of You & Your kingdom. Lord, place me where You need me to serve & let me think of others first. Whatever I promise on earth let it be fixed in heaven. Strengthen my faith & let me know my life finds fulfillment only in loving & serving You - whether I’m in service for You or waiting, exalted by You or brought low, filled with all things or empty with nothing. This I pray in the name of the Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Monday's Prayer:
We pray Lord for the Holy Spirit’s presence to engulf our church, staff and ministries. We pray our church hungers for Your word and meditates on it day & night. Let it be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Give us boldness to proclaim it and carry it like a torch to all the earth. Amen.
Tuesday's Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Thank You for FUMC, our church family, Your faithfulness and the gift of prayer -- a way to be close and feel Your love. Guide our words and actions so we’re the disciples You want us to be. We pray for flexibility as we seek Your will for our church and how to fulfill it. We pledge to seek curiously, listen attentively, act prudently, reflect frequently, give generously and engage enthusiastically. Amen.
Wednesday's Prayer:
Father God,
We thank You Father for Your continued love, guidance and blessings. Give us compassion, courage and commitment to be wise stewards of Your most holy gifts. Help us use our prayers, presence, gifts and service to grow in Your grace and fulfill our church’s mission. Amen.
Thursday's Prayer:
Father God,
As our church grows, let us work wisely in Your ways and delight in Your wisdom. Help us commit to You all we do and show us the blessings of obedience. Let our actions reflect the light of Your goodness, righteousness, truth & wisdom. Day by day, fulfill all Your plans for us. Amen.
Friday's Prayer:
Help & guide us Lord to:
Do all the good we can,
By all the means we can,

Saturday's Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
Make our church a light to our community and the world. Let our thoughts, words and actions give You honor and bring You glory. May we set an example for all in our speech, life, love, faith & purity. Bless our church and keep us. Make Your face to shine upon us in all our ministries and be gracious to us. Turn Your face toward us and give us peace. Amen.
