Many people find it difficult to minister to those who have lost a loved one. They fear that they may say or do the wrong thing or just feel awkward about ministering to someone who has suffered a loss. On Saturday, August 12, Joann Golston from
Georgetown will conduct a workshop for those interested in “Grief Ministry”. It will include: the nature of grief; being a good listener; do’s and don’ts and many other helps in dealing with those who are mourning. Joann has conducted GriefShare for many years. This workshop will be held at Marble Falls First Baptist Church Chapel, located at 501 12th Street. GriefShare Interdenominational Support Group begins September 12 from 6:30 – 8:00 at Marble Falls First Baptist Church Chapel. GriefShare is a video seminar series that features some of the nation’s foremost Christian experts on grief and recovery topics as seen from s biblical perspective.
