Jeana Martin began her appointment at FUMC Marble Falls in June 2010.  She received her Master of Divinity degree in 2008 from Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey.  After returning to Texas in 2008, Jeana served as the pastor of Fentress Community Church (a UMC congregation outside San Marcos) and later as pastor of Decker UMC in Austin. 

In May of 2010, she received a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from the Seminary of the Southwest in Austin.  Jeana is a graduate of Angelo State University with a major in psychology and a minor in drama.  Prior to attending seminary Jeana served as the youth minister at St. Luke UMC San Angelo and Dripping Springs UMC.  She grew up in Jourdanton, Texas.  Jeana has a mom and dad (Jean & Bruce), two brothers (Douglas and Michael), a future sister-in-law Brittney and a nephew named Haiden.  She is happy to share pictures of her nephew with anyone!  Just ask!

Jeana is preparing to take the Licensed Professional Counselor exam later in the summer.  She is also planning a wedding and she and John Kinsey will be married in February 2011.  John lives in Austin and will be joining the Marble Falls community in February.  In her spare time Jeana enjoys reading, watching movies, yoga, and drama.  Once a year she travels to New York City to see Broadway shows, watch the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular, and go the Princeton Seminary Choir Concert.
